Glass Spray Bottles — Face Mist, Toner & Perfume, 2–100ml

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A glass mist spray bottle turns a liquid into a fine, even mist — for face mists and toners, rose water, setting sprays, hair and body mists, aftershave, room and linen sprays, and perfume. The 2ml to 10ml sizes carry samples, testers and travel decants; 30ml to 100ml bottles are the retail pack. Every empty spray bottle here ships with its fine-mist pump, ready to fill. For attars and perfume oils, which are too thick to spray, see the roll-on bottles.
  • Glass for anything with alcohol, essential oils, fragrance or acids, and for any product sold at a premium. Glass is inert: it does not absorb scent, soften with alcohol or give a toner a plastic taste, and it can be washed and reused for years. Only the pump is plastic — or metal-finished, on the gold-pump 50ml rectangular bottles. Plastic bottles are lighter and do not break, which is why gyms and salons often keep one for the back bar.
  • 50ml is the usual retail size for a face mist, toner or rose water spray; 30ml is the pocket size; a 100ml spray bottle suits body mists, hair mists and room sprays. The 2ml, 5ml and 10ml spray vials and bottles make samples, testers and travel spray bottles, and 15ml or 20ml bottles work as a mini or gift-set size. Not sure? Order one of each size and try your product in them — there is no minimum.
  • Yes — rose water, facial toners, hydrosols and other water-based mists spray well through a fine-mist pump, and glass keeps them free of any plastic taste or smell. Amber or blue glass protects rose water from light; clear or frosted glass shows the colour of the product. Water-based formulas need a preservative whatever the bottle, and the bottles and pumps should be washed and dried before filling, since they ship straight from the factory cartons.
  • For essential oils diluted in water, alcohol or witch hazel, yes — room sprays, linen sprays and aromatherapy mists work well, as do alcohol-based sprays such as perfume and aftershave. Hair oil depends on the oil: light, thin oils can mist, but thick oils such as castor, or coconut oil that sets in cool weather, clog a fine-mist pump. Test one bottle first, or use the hair oil bottles with a pump or dropper.
  • About 0.1–0.15ml per press — a fine, even mist rather than a jet. That is roughly 7 to 10 sprays per ml, so a 50ml bottle gives about 330 to 500 sprays and a 100ml bottle about twice that. Face mists usually take two or three presses, room sprays four to six. These are fine-mist pump sprayers, not continuous-mist or trigger sprayers, so each press releases one measured dose.
  • Usually it needs priming, or dried product has blocked the nozzle. A new or refilled bottle needs five to ten presses to draw liquid up the tube. If it still will not spray, spray warm water through the pump, then a little isopropyl alcohol, and let it dry. Thick oils and powdery or glittery formulas clog fine-mist pumps. Most bottles here take an 18mm pump, and 18mm spray pumps are sold separately.
  • An amber glass spray bottle, or blue, green or black glass, for light-sensitive products — rose water, hydrosols, vitamin mists and anything with essential oils; clear or frosted glass to show the product. Amber filters the most light and suits apothecary-style brands; blue and green filter part of it and are chosen for the look; black and painted glass hide the contents completely. Clear glass suits products sold in a carton or kept out of the sun.
  • Every product page shows the price per piece and how it steps down as the quantity rises — and there is no minimum, so you can order one bottle to test your mist, label and carton. For bulk orders, WhatsApp +91 75500 42423 for a quote. Printed, painted, frosted or hot-stamped bottles are made to order from 1,000 pieces and custom pump or cap colours from 5,000, in 45–60 days from sample approval. Every order comes with a GST invoice.
  • They ship straight from the factory cartons, not pre-washed or sterilised — wash bottles and pumps in warm water with a mild detergent, sanitise with 70% isopropyl alcohol and dry fully before filling. Glass is safe to wash and reuse many times; replace the pump if it starts to drip. In-stock orders leave Chennai within three working days in multi-layer protective packing, to every state in India.

Choosing the bottle

Glass suits anything with alcohol, fragrance, essential oils or acids: it is inert, so it never takes on or gives off a smell. Amber, blue, green and black glass protect light-sensitive mists and hydrosols; clear and frosted glass show the product. Keep undiluted oils out of spray bottles, since thick liquids clog a fine-mist pump. The bottles ship straight from the factory cartons — wash, dry fully and prime the pump with a few presses. The questions at the foot of this page cover uses, sizes, glass versus plastic, spray output and rose water and toners, hair oil, and fixing a pump that will not spray.

For fragrance bottles, attar bottles and sample vials, see the perfume bottles; for rose water and hydrosol bottles with droppers too, the floral water bottles; for replacement pumps, the 18mm spray pumps. Send a photo of your product or your artwork on WhatsApp, +91 75500 42423, and we will say which bottle and pump fit it.
